Stewart Glass & Mirror, Inc is locally owned and operated. Sammy and Vickie Stewart both grew up in nearby town of Silsbee, Texas.  Sammy is no stranger to the glass industry, his Father was a Union Glazer with over 45 years of experience.  Sammy's admiration for his Father and his two Uncles long time  dedication to the industry inspired him  to begin an early career in the glass industry.    He went to work part-time for a glass shop at 13 years old.  He worked at several glass shops in the Beaumont area until he found his home in Jasper in 1973, where he went to work for his uncle at what is known today as STEWART GLASS & MIRROR, INC.

Sammy and Vickie married in 1976 and  gave birth to a healthy baby boy in 1978.  He continued to  work for his uncle for 16 years.  In 1989 his uncle retired and afforded Sammy and Vickie the opportunity to purchase the company.  Vickie joined Sammy in the business in 1990 and continues working together today.  Vickie served as the President of the Texas Glass Association (TGA) for two consecutive years.  During her term she was given the "Yellow Rose of Texas" award for her work on the Consumers Right to Choose Law signed by Governor Ann Richards.  Since that time their son Craig Stewart joined their staff.

The Stewart family say they attribute their success to providing quality products, timely service, and safe installations.  SAFETY is always the number one concern at STEWART GLASS & MIRROR, INC.  When asked Sammy says; "I have to know when I lay my head on my pillow at night, that our customers lives aren't in any danger from something I have sold them or installed for them. We always make every effort to make the consumer aware of the correct product for their application."
